What to Expect at Your First Visit
1. Health History & Consultation
Your visit begins with a thorough discussion of your health history, current concerns, and wellness goals. Dr. Lisa takes time to understand your unique situation, including any previous injuries, current symptoms, and what you hope to achieve through chiropractic care.
2. Comprehensive Examination
Dr. Lisa will perform a detailed physical examination, including posture analysis, range of motion testing, and orthopedic and neurological assessments. This helps identify the source of your pain or discomfort and determines the best course of treatment.
3. Personalized Treatment Plan
Based on your consultation and examination, Dr. Lisa will explain her findings in clear, easy-to-understand terms and recommend a personalized treatment plan. You'll understand exactly what's causing your symptoms and how chiropractic care can help.
4. First Treatment (If Appropriate)
In many cases, you'll receive your first gentle chiropractic adjustment during your initial visit. Dr. Lisa will explain each step of the process and ensure you're comfortable before proceeding. Your treatment is always tailored to your specific needs and comfort level.

Insurance & Payment
Bates Chiropractic Clinic accepts most major insurance plans. We recommend calling your insurance provider before your first visit to verify your chiropractic coverage and any co-pay or deductible requirements.
For patients without insurance or those who prefer to pay out-of-pocket, we offer competitive cash rates. Payment is expected at the time of service, and we accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards.

Appointment Scheduling
We schedule appointments to ensure you receive unhurried, personalized care. Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. If you need to reschedule, we ask for at least 24 hours notice.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that schedules change. Please call us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment so we can offer that time to another patient.
What to Wear
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows for easy movement. You won't need to change into a gown—we want you to feel comfortable throughout your visit.
